Sunday Dress

  1. A term used to describe a standard of dress and appearance.

This level of dress and appearance is the basic standard if one is to attend church on Sunday. It is also the standard used for many Church-sponsored activities. Although, it should be noted that individuals who are unaware or unable (for whatever reason) to dress to this standard will not be turned away. Men are expected to wear a white shirt and tie, dress slacks with a belt, and dress shoes. If possible a suit is preferred. A clean haircut and clean-shaven face are strongly encouraged. Women are expected to wear a knee-length dress or skirt with a blouse (capped-sleeves at a minimum) with appropriate dress shoes.
