Saints

  1. Often used to refer to the members of the Church as a group.

In the Church, the label Saint can be applied to any faithful member as perfection is required in Church. LDS doctrine holds that only those who are completely pure can be in the presence of God. This does not mean that any member is perfect, only that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ are they made pure.
