Jello

  1. A common sugar and gelatin-based dessert served in many Mormon homes.

Usually this dessert is green (lime flavored) and filled with some type of fruit, although many different variations have been known to exist. Though not preferred anymore, the classic form is green lime Jello with carrot shavings in it. This phenomenon is primarily contained within the state of Utah but is strong in surrounding regions.
