Church
- When used with a capital C, a reference to the entire Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
- When used with a lower-case c, a reference to a specific meetinghouse.
- Can be used to refer to the 3-hour time block on Sunday in which members go to a church to learn more about and worship God.
Since LDS doctrine holds that the LDS church is the only completely true church, members feel free to reference it in a singular and dominant manner. This is not to say that other religions do not have anything of worth in them, only that the LDS church is the only one that can fully bring one in line with God.
